One of the main reasons I blog is to bring in some extra income. I have worked really hard over the past several months and feel like things need to move forward.

SOME THINGS I'VE GAINED:

• Friendships--I never expected to meet so many wonderful people. I appreciate the generosity & the encouragement that has been bestowed upon me. Unfortunately, people today are lacking in these fields so I am very grateful.
• Money--My monthly income has increased a great deal and on a cowboy's wages, that's huge.
• Knowledge--WOW! I have come a long ways in this area. I went from not even knowing what a blog was to learning html and setting up a new, successful blog. There are just too many to thank for this. I owe so many people for taking the time to help me understand things. All I can say is "full circle" ;) I'm a firm believer of what comes around goes around.
• Self Confidence--I was very doubtful at first about blogging and then blogging for money. I now see that I CAN do it and feel like I can accomplish much more.

I will be moving this blog to its own domain soon and I hope that everyone will follow me when I do. It's a big step but a step I think is necessary to make. I really do like blogger. It is extremely user friendly for newbies but I have surpassed that newbie phase. There is so much more you can gain with your own domain. Having an awesome theme doesn't hurt either. When I do move it over, it will have a new blog makeover. I would love to win a makeover contest that Johncow is having but will dish out some dough if I must.

I don't know if I'm deserving of all this or not but I truly am grateful for all the wonderful things that have happened in my own little blogosphere.

I'm sure most of my fellow bloggers think I'm oh so nice but I'm really not:) However, I have done some really nice things for people. The first one that comes to mind and that is most recent, would be giving a lady money to fix her van. Breaking down out here in the middle of nowhere can be an absolute nightmare, especially if your a woman. I mean, it's dangerous to break down in no man's land, by yourself, and so close to Mexico. Really that applies to any place! Anyhoo, a woman broke down at the little store, where I was working, and after calling a tow company and getting an estimate, she learned it was going to be $600 to fix it. She was crying and crying. Luckily, we are at a point in our lives where we can afford to pay if something like this were to happen to us but we have been where she was. That's a lot of money to dish out for an average person. She tried to sell me her ring and some other little piddly stuff but I just couldn't do that. I had just gotten my check from the store so I cashed it and gave her $200 and my husband hauled her to the next biggest town. My husband talked to the mechanics and was able to get her a deal. The total bill was $423 bucks. She had the rest but it left her broke. She did have enough gas money to make it to her destination so that was good. FYI...she was on her way to pick up the kids from their Dad's place. She did call him for help but he said no..sorry bastard.

She is warm, funny, and caring and I think she's great. AND, if you go say something ugly to her, I will kick your ass!
She participates in the Wednesday Hero the words that come from her are inspiring and beautiful. She loves to read Stephen King..I like to read too but rarely get the chance:( Anyways, go check her out and enter the contest!

Bloggrrl is having a September's Shots contest that I can't believe I am entering. Holy Cow..I can't believe I'm gonna do this....Hey Bloggrrl..I really don't drink much because I usually have to drive my drunk ass husband home or I have the kids around and they hate it to see me with a beer. All I had was this Strawberry Hill and it's been in the fridge since, hmmmmm, I don't know when:/ Anyways, here it goes...AND, I'm not wearing makeup, it's 11:30pm, and I look like crap..oh my gosh..what the hec was I thinkin'???? I'm apologizing in advance to my mother!!!! (mom, this is part of the contest:) Here's my dumb drunk quickie. We had been to a rodeo and the dance and then the bar...after downing about 10 different shots, including my fav-Tequilla, beer, and a few sex on the beach drinks, I passed out next to the trash can at Motel 6. My poor husband had to come back downstairs (he thought I was following behind him) only to find me passed out in the fetal position next to the dumpster! Geez, the things you do when you're young. Thank God for 2 tablespoons of honey though!!

UPDATE AGAIN: The contest is over. I had 1 guess and she guessed one of the songs, so I'm going to give it to her! Yes, it's my blog and I can do that if I want;) So Congrats Don't Call Me Mummy . You are now entered in the drawing at the end of the month.

I am sooo sorry for the delay. Things have been crazy around here! We have 6:30am football practice, which means we have to get up at 5:30 and leave the house at 5:50. Today is my son's birthday!! He's 14 years old!..makes me feel old.

I've also been working on my new website. It's a HUGE change and the whole CSS coding is WAY different from what I'm used to. Anyways, I apologize for not updating lately. I am now caught up and will be on schedule.

Now for the contest.

I started out with 26 subscribers and now have 47. This is a difference of 16. Which means....the pot started with $20 and each additional subscriber is worth $1, this totals $41 bucks that's in the pot and up for grabs!

Out of 47 subscribers, only 4 actually emailed me with the "secret message". I would like to think that those who subscribed but didn't enter the contest, subscribed because they like my blog but who knows. I guess we will see how many subscribers I lose now that the contest is over.

Okay, so the cowman is doing it again..doing what you say?? Well, he's giving away another $500 smackaroonies with the help of Micfo, a web hosting company. Since I'm not making money online at the rate I would like, my desperation leads me to enter the $500 giveaway in hopes to get Operation Fatty into full force.

I gained 60 bigguns' since the birth of my first son 14 years ago and have been a fatty ever since. The lbs went up and down and ended with me being round. (yes, I'm a poet and I know it;) I drink water, quit the cokes, and workout to Hip Hop Abs (yeah, I'm cool too). I keep trying to lose weight but it just keeps finding me. My final attempt at shedding the bigguns' is getting poked by weightloss injections. I've seen it done and know it works but I need the mooolah to get started on them.

REASONS WHY OPERATION FATTY NEEDS TO GO IN EFFECT IMMEDIATELY:

I want my husband to be able to stand in front of me and still be seen by someone behind me.

I want to NOT have to lay on the bed to get my jeans zipped up.

I don't want everyone to make way for me as I start walking to the buffet.

I want my husband to grab my boob and not my fat by mistake.

I want to go through the drive-through at Mickey D's, order food for my family, and NOT have them think it's all for me.

Finally, I want to chase my little one around for longer than 3 minutes before wheezing and having an asthma attack.
