Inbox Dollars and Send Earnings are basically the same thing. You get a $5 sign up bonus with Inbox and a $3 with Send earnings. Here you get paid to read emails, search, shop, play games, & complete offers. I believe the payout is $25 and it's pretty easy to make that.

Agloco is where you get paid to surf. You install the viewbar and do your searches within there. The big money here it to get as many people to sign up under as you can.

Hits4Pay is where you get paid to read. It actually has a timer and lets you know when you can go to the next advertisement.

MyCreditCardCash...here you get paid to "give away" credit cards. They give you a credit card website and you have to get people to sign up. Lately, our dog has been having seizures. I didn't know why or what I could do for him until I came across Pet Health Wiki. I put "dog seizures" in the search box and within seconds some great articles came up. After reading a bit, I narrowed down the problem my dog might be having.......a vitamin deficiency! Apparently, it's common for dogs to have seizures when they are low on calcium. Just recently, my dog was having a worm problem. Worming him was working but not completely. I just looked for a solution to this problem and found that there are some great home remedies that I can do. I will be giving these a shot this weekend!

This website is packed full of information & resources. If you have a problem with your pet, you can search for a solution. Or maybe, you found some information that is provided to be true but could add your own knowledge to the article. You can also contribute to Pet Health Wiki by creating an article on a pet-health issue that you may have some insight on. It's a great place to find solutions for your pet's ailments or contribute your own knowledge, so others can take better care of their pets.

I received some bad news today. My Mamaw, who is 91, went to take a nap and woke up paralyzed. After being rushed to the hospital and having numerous tests done, the results were unbearable. She is permanently paralyzed from her chest down and it is due to cancer. It has completely taken over her whole body and has been given 1 mth to live. She is in good spirits despite this and is asking about everyone in the family. It would be about a 10 hr drive to see her....now the thing is, I really don't want to see her like that but I also don't want to regret not getting to see her before she is gone. Hopelessly confused on what to do.

It was in 2005 that cancer took my mother-in-law. Silence

I know far to well how dangerous cancer can be. I am thankful that, despite the paralysis, my Mamaw is not feeling too bad and she still has her mind. She can remember EVERYTHING and can tell a great story!!!

Okay, so I've browsed through a million blogs & websites ( ADESBLOG.COM being one of them;) and love some of the colors I'm seeing in the designs and I'm wondering....What is that color???

Having 4 boys, including my husband, I'm bound to see some wrestling. Well, this evening we were watching it when they were doing a live tribute to the death of him and his family.

There are no leads yet but there is speculation that Chris Benoit may have done this himself. They were found dead in their home at around 2:30 PM.

It has been updated to state that "he deaths of Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy and their son Daniel earlier today were the result of a double murder-suicide from within the home"
Soooo sad! Just for the record, I tried to find a picture of his family but was out of luck. I would rather have paid tribute to them and not him.

Traveling as much as we do, I am always on the lookout for Cheap Hotels. HotelReservations.com is where I went to book our hotel for Monday. We are going to Houston and will be stopping half way.

When I first came upon the site, I found it to be a little "busy" but realized how quick I could find what I was looking for. I typed in where & when and MANY choices were provided. As a bonus, if I paid upfront, I could get even lower discounts. I made my reservation with ease and no problems.
I also noticed many bonus offers like $30 gas rebate when you book a 2-night stay. I mean come on...you can't beat that!

The rates are competitive...I know this because I checked elsewhere and found HotelReservations.com to be a bit cheaper. While I was booking my hotel, I thought I would browse their site a little more. They offer vacation packages, rentals, flights, & more. I went under vacation rental and pretended I wanted to go to Cancun, Mexico. Now I don't know much about traveling out of the U.S. but I thought the prices were very good with some of them offering a free night stay by booking 5 nights.
I couldn't believe how many discounts you could get for the different categories. I think the hardest part of placing a reservation is figuring out which discount to take!

Are the new generation of babies more undisciplined than their earlier counterparts or is it that the new mothers have lost the tact to deal with the kids? I think it's ok to spank your children. If you ask me, new mothers think they have control over their children and that certain displays of rudeness were just ”natural for their age”. But for me, as a child, spanking was enforced when I did something wrong and I learned quickly not to do it again.

I was visiting a blogger friend of mine and was reading her post on Sir Isaac Newton's prediction and my first reaction was immediate sadness to think of something like that ever happening.

I then realized what I have and how grateful I am to be where I am with people I love. It's hard not to think of "the end" but you just have to live life to the fullest and with no regrets.

I received a question from Attizz over at The Totally Transparent Party asking if I make my own biscuits. The answer is yes. I make all my bread from scratch which includes rolls and biscuits. So, today I thought I would post one of my favorite biscuit recipes.
This will make a small 6x6 pan. You can always adjust it to your needs.

KENTUCKY BISCUITS

Bake at 400' for 15 min or until brown. HMMMMM Good!

What is cow tipping?....
It's basically a donation button. Why would you want to give a Tip to A Cowboy's Wife? Well, to tell you the truth, I don't know why. Maybe it's because you like my posts and personality or maybe you know what a cowboy's wages are and you feel sorry for us;).....who the hec knows.

I will tell you this, a portion of every donation will go to the The Skin Cancer Foundation. It is an organization that is close to my heart as my mother-in-law passed away from cancer in 2005 and just recently, my 91 yr. old mamaw. I believe that you have to give in order to receive and I will contribute a portion of ALL donations and hope you do the same by donating to me, directly to them, or to a foundation that you believe in.

I've had to cook at a couple of ranches but the most memorable is when we lived on the Quien Sabe. My first "cookout" was for 15 cowboys. I had to cook breakfast and lunch for 7 straight days. Whew!..I'm gettin' tired just thinkin' about it. Do you think 15 sounds like alot?? Well, it ain't. The most I had to cook for was around 38 cowboys and cowgirls. This included actual ranch hands, dayworkers, friends of the boss, and kids that tagged along.


Now cookin's not too hard but when you have to cook for (on average) 20 people for 5-10 days, breakfast & lunch, then you start to get tired and a little crabby.
Preparation was the biggest part. I had to make my menus, figure about how much to make, go shopping, and start preparing the food for the following day. I made just about everything from scratch and even though it was more work, it was also very cost effective.
Here's an example of a daily menu:


BREAKFAST

• Sausage


• Biscuits

• Hash Browns or Fried Taters


• Juice


• Coffee


• Milk


• Jelly (about 3 different kinds)

Now that is just one day ....try thinkin' up a menu for 20 cowboys for 7 days.

My cooking was OK at the beginning but improved a great deal over the 5 years we were there. Of course, none of the cowboys are gonna tell you it wasn't good but I knew if I had a crappy meal or two. They would always say "Thank you ma'am..that was good", rinse their plate in the sink, and then go outside and visit while everyone else finishes up.

Some people ask me if I miss it and..........I miss the interaction with adults and I did enjoy cookin' all the different things but I DON'T miss the cleaning!

After cookin' for that long you start to accumulate MANY recipes, so I thought I'd share a EASY & cold dessert with you guys. We call it Pookey...don't ask why;)

POOKEY for a family of 4

• 1 Package of DOUBLE STUFF Oreo Cookies


• 1 Carton of Cool Whip


• 2 Boxes of Chocolate Pudding
  

Make your pudding using the directions on the box, break oreos into pieces and add to pudding, add half of cool whip in pudding mixture and mix it all together, and then add the remaining cool whip on top. I would finely crush some oreos to put on top for garnish but it's up to you. If you want to fancy it up a bit, you can use a clear bowl and do layers. Add or subtract according to how many servings you want. You can eat it right away but I think it's better to refrigerate for an hour or so. Hope you all enjoy!!
